Noah
I am Noah, a recent graduate from the University of Oxford, having achieved first class honours in my MChem Chemistry degree from St John`s College. Over the last few years I have gained experience in the education industry and in private tuition, having had particular success with mathematics and chemistry students. I have worked with an educational start-up company, creating GCSE and A-Level revision guides and assessments to millions of students across the UK, covering multiple exam boards. I am a hardworking individual who aims to consistently exceed expectations and help people as much as possible.
How I tutor
My tutoring style consists of identifying the student’s strengths and weaknesses through tailored exercises and past papers. From here, I create lesson plans to develop each student's fundamental understanding of the subject, as well as working on the specific areas of weakness. On top of the core understandings, I believe examination technique is extremely important and something I try to emphasise throughout my lessons. I believe a tutor must be motivating, knowledgeable and structured.
Why I tutor
Having committed so much of my time and energy to education and academia, I am interested in passing the skills, tricks and understanding I have learnt to the next generation of students. Having enjoyed my educational experience so much, I find great satisfaction in offering an opportunity for others to improve their understanding and enjoyment of specific academic areas.
